The simple and economical dust extraction solution.
In this single or twin bag raw-air system, the impellor fan is situated between the woodworking machines and the filter. Via the impellor, the AAS units take in the air with its load of dust and chippings (raw air). The raw air is then pressed into the filter, capturing the dust and releasing the cleaned air.
During this process, an overpressure is imposed on the dust extraction system. This pressure can result in very fine dust being pushed through the filter and back in to the working environment making these units unsuitable for MDF dust extraction unless fitted with the optional fine dust filter.
These raw-air dust extraction systems, however, have the advantage that they are relatively cost effective due to their simple design.
